This service is provided to subscribers of H-France to connect people offering housing in France with people in need of housing. To post a housing notice, please follow the following guidelines:

Only subscribers to H-France may post on this site. To subscribe, go to our subscriber page at www.h-france.net/subscribe.html. H-France only lists postings of housing offered or sought in France. Properties outside France will be posted only if they are being offered in exchange for a property in France. Subscribed members should send their postings directly to the H-France listserv (H-FRANCE@LISTS.UAKRON.EDU). It will be forwarded to the housing editor, who will post it on this page and distribute a weekly digest of new postings to H-France subscribers. Please allow one week for your housing notice to be posted. Be sure to include all necessary information: contact information, general description of the location, general description of the apartment, dates apartment is available, rental price.

This page is updated on a weekly basis. All postings will be removed after four weeks. Accommodations that are still available after that time will need to be resubmitted. Caution: A number of con artists have been using this site to search for targets. One of the main tactics is to ask for payment to be wired to an account and then deactivating their email address. This is still a relatively rare occurrence but it has been happening recently enough to warrant this advisory note.  The Editors of H-France advise you to use caution when interacting with prospective landlords overseas, even if they advertise on this site. Most reputable landlords can provide references from previous tenants or accept payment through a more protected means such as Paypal.

Two rooms to rent from January 2019 to next summer in a family flat near Bastille and Nation. I have a charming, luminous and quiet renovated flat (84m2) with three bedrooms, a living room, a fitted kitchen, a modern bathroom, a cubbyhole, separate toilet, a long corridor with shelves and books and an old oak parquet everywhere. It is situated in a 1900 building of the 11th arrondissement (rue Alexandre Dumas; underground line 9). The neighborhood is typically Parisian, with popular markets, art and craft stores and cafés. I will be myself abroad for my research (I am an historian). This is why I rent rooms during that period of time. An American master student (studying in Sciences Po) is already here for the whole year. A second bedroom will be available before Christmas. The third bedroom will be available in the middle of January. The rent is 800 euros monthly for each room (everything included). Don't hesitate to contact me at lguilbert@hotmail.com

A room with a view in Montparnasse (6th arr.). A bright, quiet and very convenient studio (25sqm) next to Jardin du Luxembourg.  A queen size bed, a table, a large desk with a good chair and a printer, a little kitchen and a bathroom. Available between Dec 1 and Jan. 8 (dates are flexible through Jan and Feb). Fantastic transportation connections: down the street you find RERB-Port Royal (going straight to Orly or Roissy CDG) and 3 metro stations : lines 4 (Vavin), 12 (Notre-Dame des Champs) and 6 (Edgard Quinet). A Velib' Station (the City Bike system) is facing the front door of the building. Gare Montparnasse  is a 15-min walk and Gare de Lyon is direct by Bus 91 as Gare du Nord and Gare de l'Est are direct by line 4.
The Sorbonne is on the other side of Jardin du Luxembourg and BNF in direct access by line 6: door to door in 25 minutes. Last but bot least, you can go to Le Louvre, Orsay, le Grand-Palais and Beaubourg in a 30 to 45 minute-walk through lovely Parisian streets and by the shore of the Seine.
Independent movie theaters such as Les 7 Parnassiens and Le lucernaire are at 5 minutes, and mainstream ones at 10!
The resourceful Librairie Tschann is next door; variety of grocery stores (biocoop’ and regular stores), farmers' market on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays; bakeries, butcher, cafés are few meters away. The studio is in the heart of Montparnassse.
Towels and linen provided.

Fully furnished 1 BEDROOM in 55 sq.meter apartment in Paris, 11ème VOLTAIRE /PÈRE LACHAISE area, available from January to June 2019. 600 EUROS / MONTH. Wireless high-speed internet, electric heater. Photos available upon request. Contact: Corinne DORIA - corinne.doria@gmail.com

We are renting a two-room apartment as early as mid-December 2018 for as long as you need it, but at least until the middle of May 2019. Start and end dates are flexible. I am particularly happy to rent to grad students writing their dissertations in Paris or to professors on sabbatical. The price of 1400 Euro/month includes wifi, gas and electric, taxes and all building charges. There is a 1000 Euro refundable deposit.
The apartment is located in the lively, artsy 20th arrondissement, close to Metro Gambetta and many bus lines which lead to all points in Paris. The neighbourhood has lots of restaurants, bars, cafes, markets, theatres, and sites, including the famous Père Lachaise cemetery. The apartment itself is 38 m2, has a bedroom and a salon separated by a small kitchen and bathroom, and is located on a side street on the sixth floor, so it is both extraordinarily quiet, very airy and light. And yes, it does has an elevator. It is suitable for a single, a couple, or two roommates, though one of the roommates would have to sleep on the fold-out couch in the living room.
The building dates from the turn of the last century and the apartment has all the nice accoutrements that go with that: a fire place, wood floors, a bit of stucco and a small balcony off the kitchen. You can reach the centre of town within 20 minutes, but you can also withdraw from the more touristy aspects by coming back home to what Maurice Chevalier, who was born in the quartier, called "le vrai Paris”.
If you are interested, please write a message to cwiedmer@fus.edu. Photos and references available upon request.
